I am getting married in the back yard in az. I bought2 lbs after 3 days the grass started to grow. Because it is so hot here we put up a tarp to help shade some of it and the grass faster. I bought another product that sucked from this site(that car scratch stuff) but this one works. Just be careful when you open up your package because one of my bags had a small hole. Other than that it really works. I am buying 3 more lbs

Put fertilizer on top of seeds. It's been 2 weeks so far and I see grass. I was so excited considering the reviews on this product. The area without fertilizer did not come in
