Farmers Garden Dome Terrarium

This has to be one of my favorite products from Dune Craft. I've been trying so hard to get my 3 kids to eat their vegetables and this way seemed to worked. They could grow the plant indoors and it taught them some responsiblitiy. the veggies were so fresh and the strawberrys were delicious. I recommended this to all my girlfriends. Great products and cute lil animal toys too!!!

Only the beans have come up. The others may eventually. This was a Christmas gift for my 11 year old grandson and he likes it. He is in to "going green".

My 4 year old is obsessed with farms, so I thought this would be the perfect gift for her 4th birthday. I was right, she LOVES it! So far everything has sprouted, although I think she was a bit too eager and touched the lettuce (first to sprout) a bit too much because there is no longer lettuce growing. My only complaint about it, which isn't necessarily a fault of the product itself, is the bugs. When we take the dome off to air it out a bit there are little bugs everywhere. It would be nice if we could put it outside, but having an October birthday in PA with an eager child who does not understand the concept of waiting made that a bit difficult. Dunecraft has a bunch of other plant sets available as well that I plan to get for future gifts. I originally saw this at Hobby Lobby when I first got the idea to get it for her. When I went back to get it closer to her birthday they no longer had it and said that it has been discontinued. I could only find it online, so...
