The unit is not heavy duty. If I push it hard against my heal or and callous then it stops. It works a little, but not very well. It is not the wonderful tool that I was hoping it would be. I have had to go back to the old fashion way of using a pumice stone. Very disappointed. I wasted my money on this and on the refills.
