I bought this specifically for use in our motor home. We had a different brand before and it was terrible. Finally broke it trying to get it to release the lid! You just put this on top of the can push the button and let it go. After it goes all around the can push the button and it releases the lid easily.

Its a battery operated can opener so you can only say so much. But it does work better than my old One Touch that was junk. Got caught on the can and didn't last.

I had one for many years and loved it. It finally died and my first response was oh no I can't go back to the old way. Never gets dirty and always works.

This opener works much slower than the One Touch and although it doesn't leave jagged edges and has a magnet, it takes forever to open a can!

I bought this opener for my wife to replace one we bought about 8 years ago and it finally just stopped working. I was so happy with the last one I wanted a new one for her. Upon receipt, I put the batteries in, placed it on a can of tomato sauce and waited for it to do its' job. It just ran around the crimped edge of the can and never opened it. It made at least 10 revolutions but ran on the crimped edge and NEVER cut the can. I've returned it for my money back. This product was worthless! I might also add that the quality control at the manufacturer is non-existent. This item should have never left the factory.
